Sativa Sanur Cottages, Sanur (Bali)

The hotel had a spa bath with the shower in it, which was a bit difficult to get into, but being right in front of the pool was great. I liked that there were no safety deposit boxes or hair dryers available in the rooms. However, upon entering our designated room, we found it cozy and convenient.

The hotel offers okay renovations on the property, but the bathrooms need updating and can be a bit smelly due to the drains. The rooms come with amenities like a sofa, fridge, balcony with table and chairs, bottled water daily, and toiletries. The service was helpful, especially to the night receptionist who stayed with my kids when the babysitter was late so my wife and I could go out. The location has a good atmosphere with plenty of shopping and eateries, including a supermarket nearby. The dining experience was ideal for me with fresh made-to-order omelettes, but pastries were unappetizing. The facilities were decent, but some maintenance is needed. The price may not fully align with the value for money due to the needing renovations and occasional odors in the bathrooms.
